Current Resume: AI Enhanced Resume:
When revising my resume, I used AI prompting as a tool to improve my original one. My starting resume was heavily focused on marketing because I am a marketing major and had experience as a brand marketing intern. However, I wanted my resume to be more broad so I could apply to a wider range of jobs, including internships, part-time jobs, and other positions. To do this, I prompted AI to create a new version of my resume with a more professional tone and a clearer structure. Specifically, I asked ChatGPT to create a new version of my resume with a better color palette and to target it toward any job in general rather than focusing only on marketing. I also asked it to optimize the resume to give me the best chance of getting hired anywhere and make it clear and formal. After generating the revised version, I looked over it, saved it, and uploaded it here. Using AI prompting helped me refine the wording of my resume much faster than if I had revised it completely on my own. I definitely see the usefulness of using AI promting and getting good at it. It makes a difference.
